Mr. Jerry Yu ,the founder of the Ausfield Group, is a China expert, with over thirteen years of experience in banking, investment and trade, helping customers structure trade and investment projects. By making use of his personal business network within banking and financial circles in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan; expertise in project finance for arranging foreign exchange and RMB funding; trade finance expertise for indirect trade and compensation trade; investment expertise in structuring joint-venture enterprise in China; and marketing skill in helping the foreign manufacturers/traders to distribute their products in China, he has participated in many negotiations and successfully concluded many deals.
In 1991 to 1992, he was instrumental in helping a PRC capital financial institution in Hong Kong establish corresponding banking relationships with two state-owned commercial banks in Taiwan and structure indirect trade and money remittance products. By the invitation from the state-owned banks in mainland China and Taiwan, he traveled to the industrial and commercial cities in mainland China and Taiwan and conducted seminars and gave advise on investment and trade with mainland China to the bank's clients and customers.
In sharing his expertise on venture capital and project finance, Mr. Yu was invited to give speeches on the subjects of how to finance the imported power equipment at the "Seminar on Diesel Power Generation for Peak Hour Loading Power Plant" held in Wuxi, in May 94 and the Regulation to Foreign Investment Enterprise on Foreign Exchange Control at "Blueprinted for a Successful China Deal Conference", held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, May 95.
In publication, Mr. Yu also co-authored a financial tool book entitled "Loan Syndication" which was published in 1992, with compliment for Bank of China Group Training Center in Hong Kong to train the credit managers from the domestic branches of Bank of China. In addition, Mr. Yu wrote, in 1990, a research report on the topic, " Trench of the Financial System Reforms in China".
